Tapabrata Usada August 2008, at Saranam Pacung

As usual, on the last day of the 7 days 6 nights Tapabrata Usada program, there is a time to share the participants experiences. We learn a lot from the participants’ life journey, their sickness, experienced during the Tapabrata, why they joined or feed back for the improvement of Bali Usada. 

This time, I would like to comment on the different life issues faced by human kind. Life is a continuous process. It depends on how you face it, some succeed and have a better life and some fail and their life worsen. To have a better life, we need to do some preparation and be prepared to progress. We see a lot of people were born in a good environment, have a good quality of life, they have good health, peacefulness and facility for a good life but when they grow older they are in vain, unhappy and feel empty. Why? It’s because they are have no plan to face life and not ready to face life.

One way to create a plan and be ready to face life is to have a good understanding about life itself, to have the knowledge and strong, focus, gentle, clear and flexible mind to face life and be alive. I called it to have a harmonise mind. We raise and train it during the Tapabrata Usada so that it became stronger, use it to make our body healthier and to calm down our mind by reducing the bad reaction and trauma in our memory. 
  
These are the varieties of life from our 10 meditation friends when they consulted with me or during their testimonials session: 

1. A husband married with another younger woman, with the experience in life, she can forgive him but whenever she saw him, the hatred feeling keeps on coming up again and she could not forget them. The feeling of restlessness keeps on haunting her life. Her look was much older than her age.  
2. Her boyfriend passed away due to a sickness, then she got mad and started to hate life, she could not accept the truth. Why she has to face this? Why not other people? She became a very moody person, a loner and a very unhappy person. 
3. Every day, he is very sad although he has a good business and healthy body. 
4. She was diagnosed to have a cancer although she never has any complaint before. Her husband, children, business and life are all good and than suddenly their life become chaos. Why this has to happen? 
5. Often feeling very unsatisfied, not very appreciated and not getting enough attention. 
6. The pressure in life from the school, work environment and also from family. People want to get away from all of these pressures but often unable to face it and ended up to end their life. 
7. Not happy in the insides, however, from outside, parents, bosses in the office and other peoples see the perfection. So as to satisfy others, one acts in accordance to the expectation of others. The fakeness, the wish to be appreciated from outside has made ourselves become a stranger to ourselves therefore may experience restlessness, stress and depression. 
8. The expectation for the good feeling is stronger although, happiness is not coming from the good feeling. Feeling keeps on changing, happiness arise from the strength, calmness, clearness and the wisdom in our mind. 
9. Depressed due to the enormous issues faced in life leads to high blood pressure, migraine etc. 
10. Everything is available and adequate so there is confusion in what is the highest objective in life? Where do we want to go? How can we achieve that? 

From the many consultations I gave during the Tapabrata, as a healer, giving consultations and also teaching the thousand of meditation students, the different kind problem in life was shown in the body, memory and mind.
 
From the 10 meditation friends, every body has their own problems with different types. So is in every body life has its own problems. Problems in life could not be avoided. More importantly, we need to think whether we have plans to face the problems and we are ready to face the problems. So that we have a good life journey and we are happy with it. 

In general most of the Tapabrata participants will have a way to face their life problems. The issue is whether they become calmer and happier? It’s all coming back to oneself. If the understanding about life and harmonise mind are being raised, trained and stronger they will become calmer and happier.
