Question: May I visualize the breathing during practicing Bali Usada Health Meditation? (Wiyono, Tangerang)
Answer:
In Bali Usada Health Meditation, our main task is to observe the breathing and be mindful of the breathing as it is (naturally), we are not just visualizing nor imagining.
This is important to understand, as what we stress out is how the mind can feel directly the breath as it goes in, so that it will give good energy to the oxygen we inhale; and to train our mind to feel the touching sensation in our nostril. This sensation is relating to our memory. By training our mind to be at present, and experiencing the truth about the 12 characters of the matter, our wisdom is trained so that our harmonious mind is getting stronger. |
